Reporting Changes Effective January 1

Effective January 1, 2019, the Tennessee Prescription Monitoring Program (TN PMP) requires reporting of the Treatment Type and ICD-10 Diagnosis Code. This requires the PMP submission file be in an ASAP 4.2a format. Also effective on January 1, 2019 is a requirement to send an incremental counter with partial fills of controlled orders. Review the Tennessee Controlled Substance Data Collection Manual (January 2019) for how to register and transmit data to the Appriss PMP Clearinghouse. For technical questions, Appriss is available to provide assistance and information to individual pharmacies. Call 866.683.9771 or submit a request.
